UCL Predictor - desktop
=======================

This runs the UCL Predictor interface on your computer. Your data, the
prediction model and all scraping stay on your server: the app talks to the
server's backend through its /backend address.

Start
-----
Windows: unzip the folder anywhere, then double-click "UCL Predictor.exe".
Linux: unzip, then run ./ucl-predictor

The first time, it asks for your server address - the one you open in the
browser, for example https://predictor.example.com (the Desktop app page on
your server shows it). It checks the connection, remembers it in config.json
and opens the app in your browser at http://127.0.0.1:3939.

Keep the black window open while you use the app; close it to stop.

Windows may warn that the program is from an unknown publisher (it isn't
code-signed): choose "More info" -> "Run anyway".

Options
-------
--reset forget the saved server address and ask again
--server <address> use this server (and save it)
--port <number> local port (default 3939; another free one if taken)
  --no-browser don't open the browser

Keep the "app" folder next to the program. To update, download the new zip
from the server's Desktop app page and replace the folder (config.json can be
copied over to keep your server address).
